No, gold-filled jewelry has a thick layer of gold bonded to a base metal core, so it resists tarnishing and fading far better than gold-plated pieces, even with daily wear.
Why is this bracelet a fixed 7", and will it fit me?
We made this at a fixed 7" on purpose. It's sized to sit close to the wrist the way a permanent bracelet does, with no dangle or extra length, but you can still take it on and off with the lobster clasp. Because the beaded bar is rigid rather than fully flexible, it fits closer than a standard 7" chain: it's best for a wrist measuring about 5.75"-6.25" around, with 6" giving the classic drape just below the wrist bone. If your wrist falls outside that range, message us before ordering and we can advise.
