If you run a shop

I design and build Filosophy in a studio in North Boulder with one assistant. Sterling silver, gold-filled, and natural stones. Wire wrapped, beaded, and assembled by hand.

If you are looking for pieces your customers will not find in six other stores on the same street, this is worth a conversation.

What is available

Because I work with natural stones, no two pieces come out the same. Some designs I can repeat. Others are one of a kind and exist once.

Wholesale orders are built from the repeatable designs. If you want something nobody else in your market will be carrying, I can pull one of a kind pieces alongside them at a separate rate.

Stones vary in color, matrix, and shape. The photos in the line sheet are representative, not exact. That variation is the point.

Ordering

Lead time

Everything is made after you order it. Allow three to four weeks for production. Orders placed heading into the holidays take longer, and I will tell you before you commit, not after.

If you need something faster, ask before you place the order. I can sometimes rush if the schedule allows, and I will quote the rush fee up front.

Pricing in your store

Suggested retail is the floor. Please do not sell Filosophy below it without asking me first. If you run a sale, hold it to no more than 15% under suggested retail.

This is not me being precious. It protects your margin as much as mine, and it keeps my own site from undercutting you.

If you sell online, please note in the description that the piece is handmade by Filosophy. I am happy to send product photos on request. They stay mine, and I ask that you resize them rather than crop, recolor, or add text.

Damages and returns

Because every order is made for your shop specifically, pieces cannot be returned or exchanged. Defects are a different matter.

Check your shipment when it arrives and email me within five days of delivery if anything is damaged or faulty. Not five days of opening the box, five days of it landing on your counter. Keep the packaging. I will repair it, or replace it if it cannot be repaired.
