Ocean Jasper, African Opal and Turquoise Leather Tassel Necklace

This is the necklace for the free-spirited days. A hand-beaded strand of ocean jasper in sea green, mustard, cream and berry, with one little turquoise triangle tucked along the side, leads down to a sterling silver triangle connector. From there hangs a rectangle of African opal in earthy green and honey brown, finished with a soft deerskin leather tassel that sways when you walk.

The strand rides on a deerskin leather cord with a slide bead, so you can wear it as a choker, let it fall long, or anywhere in between.

Ocean Jasper, African Opal and Turquoise Meaning: Sea, Earth and Sky

Ocean jasper is gathered where the tide meets the shore, and it carries that feeling with it. It's known as a stone of joy and calm, the one you reach for when you want to breathe out, laugh more and let things flow.

African opal is an earthy, grounding opal, said to bring out creativity and help you feel at home in your own skin.

Turquoise is the sky stone, carried by travelers and wanderers for thousands of years as protection on the road. It belongs to the woman who follows her own map.

Wear them together for all three: easy joy, your own creative spark, and the courage to go wherever you're headed next.

Ocean Jasper, African Opal and Turquoise Leather Tassel Necklace Details

  • Gemstones: Ocean jasper beads, African opal rectangle focal stone and a stabilized turquoise triangle
  • Tassel and cord: Deerskin leather
  • Metal: Sterling silver wire, triangle connector and components; silver-plated slide bead
  • Length: Fully adjustable, from choker to long
  • Made in: North Boulder, Colorado

How to Wear It

Pull the slide bead up for a choker with an open neckline, or let it out long over a tank, a tee or a sweater. It's a festival favorite with denim and boots, and it's just as easy over a simple black dress.

Natural Gemstone Variation

Every piece of ocean jasper and African opal has its own colors and pattern, and every turquoise its own shade, so your necklace will be uniquely yours.

About the photos: The photos are AI-created to show the design and how the necklace looks when worn and styled. Your necklace is handmade in our studio, and the natural stones will vary a little in color and pattern.

Jewelry Care

Take it off before swimming, showering or exercising, and keep the leather dry. Turquoise is porous, so keep it away from water, lotions and chemicals. Wipe the stones and silver with a soft, dry cloth, and store the necklace laid flat so the tassel stays straight.
