A natural iolite teardrop in a sterling silver bezel hangs from an open marquise link chain. Iolite is a deep violet-blue stone that shifts in tone as it turns, so the color changes a little depending on the light and the angle.
Handmade in North Boulder
Made by hand in the FILOSOPHY studio in North Boulder, Colorado.
The clasp hooks into any link along the chain, so you can wear it at full length or pull it up to a choker. Wear it alone for the color, or layer it with your other sterling silver chains.
Because we use natural iolite, every stone has its own depth of violet-blue and its own clarity. Your pendant will be uniquely yours.
Remove before swimming, showering, exercising, or applying lotions and perfume. Gently wipe the iolite and sterling silver with a soft, dry cloth and store in a dry place.
See our shipping policy and return policy for full details.

Choose 16" or 18". Either length adjusts shorter, since the clasp can close into any link along the chain.
Iolite is traditionally associated with intuition, inner vision, and finding direction.

Close, but not exactly. Natural iolite varies from stone to stone in color and markings, so yours will have its own character.
Iolite naturally shows different tones from different angles, from deep violet-blue to softer periwinkle. It's one of the things that makes the stone interesting to wear.
