Faceted natural Ethiopian opal beads run along one side of an oxidized sterling silver chain and lead to a marquise opalite pendant in a gold vermeil bezel. Blackened silver against warm gold, with the opal's flashes of color and the opalite's soft glow at the center.
Handmade in North Boulder
Made by hand in the FILOSOPHY studio in North Boulder, Colorado.
At 18" the pendant falls just below the collarbone. The dark chain looks great with black, charcoal, and cream, and it layers well with both silver and gold.
Every Ethiopian opal bead is natural, so the flashes of color and the clarity vary from bead to bead. Your necklace will be uniquely yours.
Remove before swimming, showering, exercising, or applying lotions and perfume. Ethiopian opal can absorb water and oils, so keep it dry. Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store in a dry place. The oxidized finish is meant to stay dark, so skip silver polish on the chain.
