Storm-gray at rest, then a turn of the hand and electric blue streaks across the stone like lightning running through a summer cloud bank. That shifting glow is labradorescence, and this stone has it from edge to edge.
The freeform teardrop is faceted across the top, so the flash breaks into bright planes of light as it moves. Six sterling silver prongs hold it high over a hand-hammered sterling silver band.
The teardrop runs long up the finger, so it reads bold without feeling bulky. Wear it on its own against white linen, charcoal or denim, or let it be the centerpiece next to a few plain sterling silver bands.
No two labradorites flash the same way. The color, depth and pattern of the flash are unique to each stone, and this exact ring is the one you'll receive.
Remove before swimming, showering, exercising, or applying lotions and perfume. Gently wipe the stone and sterling silver with a soft, dry cloth and store in a dry place. Check the prongs now and then to make sure the stone stays snug.

Labradorite is made of thin internal layers that scatter light as it passes through. That effect, called labradorescence, is what makes the color appear and shift as the stone moves.
Labradorite is traditionally associated with intuition, protection, and transformation.

Yes. This is a one-of-a-kind ring, and the stone in the photos is the one you'll receive. Labradorite's flash changes with the light and angle, so it will look a little different from moment to moment.
