This native copper is found in Colorado and can be mined in the Cashin Mine in Montrose County, and a few other locations worldwide. Unlike mined copper that's refined into metal, this is copper that crystallized naturally in its pure form within host rock. The stone shows copper's natural warm metallic luster combined with the surrounding matrix minerals, creating patterns that feel both organic and industrial.
